Spring brings a crowd favorite, the annual Downtown Beer Crawl. This walking beer tasting event takes patrons to various locations throughout the 25-block historic district, where they find live music, snacks, specials, and beer tastings, of course. Other spring events to note include the Out to Lunch Concert Series, the Spring Art Crawl, and the Piney Hills Classic MTB Festival.
Summer welcomes Ruston’s largest event of the year - the Louisiana Peach Festival. The festival sees tens of thousands of attendees annually who flock to Downtown Ruston on the first Saturday in June to discover the homegrown flavors, art, music, and culture of Ruston and Lincoln Parish. You’ll also want to be sure to add Ruston and Grambling’s Juneteenth Celebrations to your calendar, where you’ll find great food, community traditions, and incredible entertainment year-after-year.
There’s nothing quite like Fall in a college town. In addition to activity-filled home football game weekends, the season also brings several staple community events, including Lincoln Parish Park Fest, Artoberfest, Pumpkins in the Park, and the ever-popular Downtown Wine Walk, Beer Crawl’s fall counterpart.
The holidays are a must-experience season in Ruston & Lincoln Parish. Enjoy weeks of holiday events and activities featuring the annual tree lighting ceremony, the Ruston Christmas Parade, Lincoln Lights Up the Pines, the Holidays Arts Tour, and downtown carriage rides.
