Take your tastebuds on an immersive experience of the art of home-brewing and sample beers from all over the region at the 12th annual ARToberfest! The Dixie Center for the Arts presents: WÖR

Art comes in all forms, and one of our favorites is music. On November 3rd, WÖR will be putting on a show that is sure to grow your appreciation of the arts at the historic Dixie Theater. WÖR injects new energy into 18th-century melodies from the Flanders region of Belgium while shining an inventive spotlight and a modern twist on the melodies of these manuscripts. NCLAC presents: Terrance Simien

Head over to the Dixie again on November 4th where NCLAC is providing another opportunity to experience the arts through music. Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience will take you on a multicultural tour of the world inspired by the many countries he has visited on tour. He creates a hypnotic blend of New Orleans funk-reggae-flavored-world-blues-American zydeco roots music that beckons you to your feet and into the groove. Christmas Stroll

Ruston Art Encounter is hosting a one-of-a-kind downtown Christmas experience. There will be arts of all kinds including strolling musicians, culinary arts, performing arts, uniquely crafted artistic gifts (in perfect time for the holidays), and to top it all off a Christmas tree lighting. Although it’s free to browse, we highly encourage bringing your wallet so you can fully enjoy and support the arts!
