Downtown Ruston Mural
Location: At the corner of North Vienna and Alabama, on the back of the 1938 Rainwater Building, across from the Dixie Center for the Arts! Be sure to take a closer look at all of the geometric shapes hidden throughout this mural.
Rainbow After the Storm Mural
Location: On the East side of the Jaco Federal Credit Union building at the corner of E Alabama Ave and North Vienna Street in Historic Downtown Ruston! Be sure to act like you are being lifted by the balloons when you go to snap your picture!
Louisiana Center for the Blind Mural
Location: On South Trenton street on the side of the Louisiana Center for the Blind's woodshop. This mural features enlarged braille beneath it to symbolize Ruston's relationship with the Center for the Blind.
Preation Mural by Bailee Golden
Location: In between South Monroe St and South Trenton St, The Depot coffee shop displays this mural on the West side of the building. Make sure to embrace a loved one or jump into the destined order of growth, change, and positivity!
Rock Island Greenway Mural
Location: Drive through the underpass off of Woodard Avenue between exits 84 & 85 on Interstate 20 and across from the water tower! This mural represents Rock Island Greenway, Ruston's shared-use walking, running, and bicycling path and linear park.
Ruston Farmers Market Mural
Location: On the outside and inside wall of the Ruston Farmers Market building (220 E Mississippi Ave). RFM brings opportunities to our farmers and other vendors, to provide healthy, local food choices to our community. Stop by on Saturday mornings!
Dixie Center for the Arts Mural
Location: On the outside wall of the Dixie Center for the Arts building (212 N. Vienna St.). The Dixie is a nonprofit organization and historic theater. It's a place of creativity and this mural represents what the theater stands for.
On the Shoulders of Giants Mural
Location: On the side of the recreation building at Greenwood Park (1306 Cornell Ave.). The mural celebrates the community that surrounds the former Greenwood School, Coach Wilbert Ellis, and the original Zion Traveler Church. The mural is part of NCLAC’s Lift Every Voice Initiative to acknowledge the contributions of Black members of our community and collaborate with unique voices to listen and learn from their experiences.
Sleep Inn Mural
Location: On the side of Sleep Inn & Suites (106 S Service Rd). Peaches and beautiful sunsets are iconic images of Ruston, LA. The mural highlights the city's love for sports, arts, and the local universities - on display for everyone who passes through Lincoln Parish.
