Homecoming is one of our very favorite weekends here in Louisiana's College Town.

It’s a special time of year when students, alumni, locals, and fans from all over come together to watch the Bulldogs take the field. While you’re in Ruston for the game, we want you to make the most out of your trip by adding in flavorful meals, memorable events, and cultural experiences.

Homecoming Week

The University has plans for students and alumni all week leading up to the big Homecoming Game. You can view a full schedule of events here. If you're planning to come just for the weekend, take a look below for a detailed list of events happening on Friday and Saturday.

Friday, Nov. 8

12:00 p.m. – Alumni Awards Luncheon – Davison Athletics Complex

5:30 p.m. – College Receptions
Check with your college to see about special programming for the evening.

6:00 p.m. – Volleyball vs FIU – Thomas Assembly Center

6:30 p.m. – Evening Under the Oaks – Louisiana Tech Quad
Wine and heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served as you mingle with alumni and friends in a magical setting of lights and lanterns under the oaks featuring music from Tech’s Pop and Jazz Band. Tickets $25 per person.

7:00 p.m. – Homecoming Pep Rally – Railroad Park in Downtown Ruston
Get the weekend kicked off with a lively pep rally from Louisiana Tech's Spirit Groups and the Band of Pride. In addition to chants and cheers, there will also be a presentation of the 2024 Homecoming Court.

Game Day

Saturday, Nov. 9

8:00-10:00 a.m. – Breakfast with Champ – Tech Table

10:00 a.m. – Homecoming Parade

12:00-2:30 p.m. – Tailgating
Alumni Association and LTAC members are invited to a pregame tailgate at the Argent Pavilion from 12:30-3:00 p.m. Register here.

1:15 p.m. – Walk of Pride

1:30 p.m. - Tech Trolley Shuttle Begins
This free shuttle service runs continuously beginning 2 hours prior to kickoff and runs until 1 hour after the game ends. Pickup: Railroad Park or W. Mississippi @Everett, Dropoff: South side of Joe Aillet Stadium
