LTA introduced the CVB as one of the winners during its Annual Meeting Thursday in Charenton, LA.
This year, LTA presented 19 “Louey Awards” to honor and showcase individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the Louisiana tourism industry.
“It is an honor to receive this recognition,” says Travis Napper, CVB President/CEO. “The staff worked extremely hard this past year, and it’s a tremendous reward for that hard work. But beyond our staff, a lot of the credit goes to the Ruston-Lincoln Parish community and partners that we work with on a daily basis to bring a return on our investment in tourism and to better the quality of life for each of our citizens.”
Experience Ruston indeed had a great year with the premiere of events like the Dixie Youth World Series and NAIA National Championship, staff growth and development, and successful partnerships with Grambling State University, Louisiana Tech University, City of Ruston, and the Ruston Sports Complex. The team is excited to display the award at the Visitors Center and looks forward to continuing to showcase Ruston & Lincoln Parish and the great state of Louisiana to the rest of the world.
