Terrance Simien, a two-time Grammy Award winning artist, will be lighting up the stage with his band the Zydeco Experience at 7pm, Nov 4th in Ruston at the Dixie Center for the Arts.

An 8th generation African American roots and Louisiana Creole musician, Terrance has played all over the world, including at Louisiana’s own New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for the past 34 years.
Terrance recorded with Randy Newman in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog song “Gonna Take You There,” which introduced a global audience to zydeco for the first time, and worked with other media powerhouses like HBO to feature other zydeco artists in our state as well.
This show is brought to Ruston by a grant from South Arts, and the generosity of NCLAC member Catherine McVea.
Tickets are FREE if claimed online before the show at www.nclac.org/school-shows. Tickets at the door will be $5 for adults, $2 for students, free for kids 12 & under.
