We're a destination marketing organization.

What does this mean? Our team works to develop and manage our community’s brand. We do this by promoting, marketing, and engaging potential visitors to the area. Our organization is uniquely positioned to do this as our funding comes through occupancy taxes paid by visitors and is invested back into the community by way of support for local events, grants for attractions, funding for the arts and cultural initiatives, and much more.

Residents and visitors alike are able to take advantage of the benefits tourism brings to Ruston & Lincoln Parish. Tourism is a common good. It is an essential investment to develop opportunities and build quality of life to benefit all.

Amanda Quimby Carrier, TMP

President & CEO

Amanda is originally from Franklin Parish but has called Ruston home for several years. She has a passion for travel and tourism, event planning, and showcasing Ruston & Lincoln Parish. As the President & CEO, Amanda leads the CVB's sales and marketing efforts to promote the area and oversees all administrative functions of the CVB.

Tori Davis

Director of Marketing and Communications

Tori is a Shreveport native who planted roots in the piney hills of Lincoln Parish in 2017. She has a passion for destination development and marketing and aims to spend every bit of her free time making memories with her husband and two daughters. As Director of Marketing and Communications, Tori supports the President/CEO of Experience Ruston in implementing new marketing plans and content strategies to help promote Ruston/Lincoln Parish as a premier tourist destination.

Jennifer Mamon

Jennifer proudly calls Ruston, the heart of Northeast Louisiana, home. Possessing a servant's heart and a love for travel, she oversees sales and service activities in her role. Dedicated to attracting and servicing meetings, group tours, reunions, and conferences to Ruston and Lincoln Parish, she aims to showcase their unique charm. Anna Graney

Destination Services Coordinator

Anna Graney is originally from a small town in Oklahoma and she moved to Ruston to attend Louisiana Tech University. In her free time, she enjoys going to coffee shops with friends or traveling to new places. As Destination Services Coordinator, Anna supports the sales and marketing departments to ensure successful events and programming for the destination.

Pam Strickel

Administrative Assistant

Pam is a native of the South and graduate of Louisiana Tech University. In 2021, she relocated to Ruston after living in Arkansas and Tennessee. She is a wife and mom who loves traveling to scenic places for hiking, skiing, or just enjoying the view. As Administrative Assistant, Pam interacts directly with travelers, oversees the Ruston Visitors Center, and keeps the CVB office running smoothly.

Leah Freeman

Marketing & Communications Assistant

Leah Freeman is originally from Bossier City and moved to Ruston in 2021 to attend Louisiana Tech University. In her free time she enjoys running, playing volleyball, and spending time with her cat. As the Marketing and Communications Assistant, Leah supports the Director of Marketing and Communications in managing digital assets, content development, and social media management.
